Parents
I understand how difficult it can be to be a parent, and a mom specifically! Parenting in general is a full time, stressful, and often challenging role. When you throw in neurodiversity, behaviour challenges, and developmental disabilities, it makes the role of parenting that much harder. You don’t have to do this alone!
I love to support parents 1-1, to be your cheerleader, coach, and confidante. I’ll help you develop effective skills, strategies, and tools that will help you grow in confidence, develop your guiding relationship, and learn how to support your child. I promise, it will get better. You can achieve the life you dream of… for you, your child, and your family!
Professionals
I love sharing the message about a different perspective on behaviour and autism. When it comes to professionals, it brings me great joy to educate and support anyone who works with autistic and special needs children. Why? Because I know the old way of doing things doesn’t work. And I know a way to provide supports that genuinely work to improve learning, promote growth and increase regulation at school and in the community.

Relationship Development Intervention (RDI®)

The RDI program was designed based on the work of Dr. Steven Gutstein and the latest research supporting brain development. The main focus is knowing that the parents are the best guides for their child/youth and giving parents the skills to help develop their child’s thinking skills to help create independent thinkers, enhance communication skills to help navigate through this complex world we live in. We do this by guiding parents to learn/use the every day moments to become optimal learning opportunities, and knowing the long term goal is creating positive, empowering processes for the child and family. RDI recognizes that every individual and family is unique. Together, we will create a program that is best suited for your child/youth and family.
As a certified RDI consultant, I will guide you on every step of the way.
Creating Clarity, Calm & Real Change
With over 20 years of experience in the autism and behaviour field, I support both families and professionals to move from chaos to calm by creating clarity around behavioural challenges and providing tangible and effective strategies.
Are you a parent with a child with autism or additional needs? Or maybe you're an professional looking for new ways to support a child or youth in school or the community?
As a certified RDI Consultant, I integrate RDI principles and strategies into my programs to help create a clear path forward. I have helped hundreds of families and individuals learn how to reduce challenging behaviours and promote growth, learning, and connection.
In-person and remote options
I work with families 1-1 both in-person around the Campbell River, Comox Valley, and North Island areas as well as online sessions with families across BC (and beyond)!
For professionals, I offer training and workshops in-person and remotely through live or pre-recorded video.
